A movie palace in San Francisco's Castro District, built in 1922 to a design by Timothy L. Pflueger, who also drew Oakland's Paramount Theater. Its architecture mixes Beaux-Arts and Spanish Baroque, and the Art Deco marquee that has become the street's landmark was added in 1937. Modest Mouse are an American indie rock band formed in Issaquah, Washington in 1993 by Isaac Brock, Jeremiah Green and Eric Judy, and now based in Portland, Oregon.
