The name nods to Jonathan Richman's song "Roadrunner", a fitting tribute for a room built for live music. Modest Mouse are an American indie rock band formed in Issaquah, Washington in 1993 by Isaac Brock, Jeremiah Green and Eric Judy, and now based in Portland, Oregon.
