Grinders KC, known on the touring circuit as CrossroadsKC, is an open-air concert space beside the Grinders restaurant in Kansas City's Crossroads Arts District. The warehouse-district courtyard hosts touring rock, metal and hip-hop acts through the outdoor season. Modest Mouse are an American indie rock band formed in Issaquah, Washington in 1993 by Isaac Brock, Jeremiah Green and Eric Judy, and now based in Portland, Oregon.
