A landmark concert venue and former theatre in Camden Town, London. Opened in 1900 as The Camden Theatre, it passed through lives as the Camden Hippodrome, a cinema, a wartime closure and a long BBC tenancy, before reopening in 1977 as The Music Machine and, from 1982, the Camden Palace. An extensive restoration brought it back as KOKO, since described as one of London's premier live venues. Michael Shannon & Jason Narducy and Friends play whole R.E.M. albums, and the 2026 UK run is Lifes Rich Pageant in its entirety for the record's 40th anniversary, alongside many other R.E.M. classics.
