A 1925 movie palace on Woodward Avenue (the longtime State Theatre), reborn as the Fillmore Detroit — a grand lobby, three tiers, and the annual Detroit Music Awards under its roof. Micah Davis, known as Masego, is a Jamaican and American musician and singer whose signature is the saxophone he plays into his own songs.
