Reggies Rock Club is the concert room of Reggies, a live-music and bar complex on South State Street in Chicago's South Loop that opened in 2007 in a converted auto-repair shop. Its sloped floor and balcony lounge are built for rock, punk, metal, indie and hip-hop bills. Mariachi El Bronx is the mariachi alter ego of The Bronx, an American punk rock band formed in Los Angeles in 2002 — vocalist Matt Caughthran, guitarists Joby J. Ford and Ken Horne, bassist Brad Magers and drummer Joey Castillo.
