A 1938 art-house cinema turned East Vancouver cultural hub — 409 seats, a balcony, and a community that has repeatedly fought (and won) public battles to save it. Films by night, gigs and multidisciplinary art whenever the screen goes dark. Laura Pergolizzi, who records as LP, is an American singer, musician and songwriter from Brooklyn, New York.
