A 2,676-seat concert hall at 600 Penn Avenue in the Cultural District of Pittsburgh, home to the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra, and presenting around 200 performances a year. It was built in 1926–27 as Loew's Penn Theatre, a movie palace designed by Rapp & Rapp with a 50-foot vaulted Venetian ceiling in the Grand Lobby. It closed in 1964 and was due for demolition before being bought and renovated between 1967 and 1971, reopening as Heinz Hall.
