Spark Arena is Auckland's main indoor arena, at 42-80 Mahuhu Crescent in Quay Park on the eastern edge of the CBD, a 10-15 minute walk from Britomart station. It opened on 24 March 2007 as Vector Arena, was named Auckland City Arena while it was being built, and took its present name in 2017. It is run by Quay Park Arena Management. Laufey is an Icelandic-Chinese singer and cellist whose jazz-steeped pop on the Grammy-winning Bewitched brought the Great American Songbook to Gen Z.
