An arena in Greensboro, North Carolina, formerly the Greensboro Coliseum. Opened in 1959 as the first building of the Greensboro Complex, the 22,000-seat venue is home to the UNC Greensboro Spartans basketball team and the ECHL's Greensboro Gargoyles. Long a fixture of college basketball, it has hosted ACC tournaments and NCAA tournament games, and once staged Wake Forest's marquee ACC fixtures from 1959 to 1989. Its scale also suits major concerts. Koe Wetzel is a Texas artist whose rowdy fusion of red-dirt country and grunge built a huge grassroots following before crossover hits like High Road.
