A Grade II listed theatre in central Southampton, formerly the Gaumont and originally the Empire, seating 2,300. It is the largest theatre in South England outside London, more than twice the size of Brighton's Theatre Royal. Best known for touring West End productions, it also stages one-off comedy shows and music events. Kevin Andrew Bridges is a Scottish stand-up comedian whose television work has largely been built out of the live act rather than apart from it: his 2012 series Kevin Bridges: What's the Story?
