The details, in daylight
Jutes played Majestic Theatre-MI in Detroit on 16 August 2026, with In Color, Wilt in support. This show has already taken place — see Jutes's page on KeenToGo for their upcoming dates.
The Majestic Theatre stands at 4126-4140 Woodward Avenue in Midtown Detroit and has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 2008. Designed by C. Howard Crane, it opened on 1 April 1915 with 1,651 seats — at the time the largest theatre in the world built for showing films — and lost the front 35 feet of the building when Woodward Avenue was widened in 1934, which is when Bennett & Straight gave it the Art Deco facade it still carries. Its present owner bought it in 1984 after spells as a church and a photographic studio, and it now works mainly as a music venue across three spaces — The Majestic, The Majestic Cafe and The Magic Stick — alongside the attached Garden Bowl. Jutes is an alternative act.
