House of Blues Chicago is a live-music hall and restaurant set in the landmark Marina City towers on North Dearborn Street in downtown Chicago, opened in 1996. With a capacity of about 1,400, it is one of the busier rooms in the Live Nation–operated House of Blues chain, staging rock, blues and hip-hop acts most nights. Jon B. — Jonathan David Buck — is an American R&B singer, songwriter and record producer whose 1995 debut Bonafide spawned "Pretty Girl" and "Someone to Love" with Babyface, the latter reaching the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 and earning a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals.
