The Isaac Stern Auditorium / Ronald O. Perelman Stage is the main hall of Carnegie Hall on Seventh Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, seating 2,804 across five tiers. Opened in 1891, it is one of the world's most storied concert halls, renowned for its acoustics and for hosting classical, jazz and popular performers alike. Joe Hisaishi is a Japanese composer and conductor from Nakano, Nagano, celebrated for scoring nearly every Studio Ghibli film, including Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro and Princess Mononoke.
