The F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts is a 1,832-seat Art Deco theatre on Public Square in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Opened in 1938 as the Comerford Theatre and later known as the Paramount, it took its present name in 1986 and now hosts touring concerts, comedy and Broadway productions. Jeffrey Douglas Dunham, born on 18 April 1962, is an American ventriloquist, stand-up comedian and actor who has appeared on Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show and Comedy Central Presents, and whose own series, The Jeff Dunham Show, ran in 2009.
