Motorpoint Arena Nottingham is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Nottingham's Lace Market, part of the National Ice Centre and seating around 10,000 for concerts and up to roughly 15,000 for standing shows. Opened in 2000, it is the East Midlands' largest live-entertainment venue and home to the Nottingham Panthers ice-hockey club. Jane McDonald is an English singer and television presenter from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, who rose to fame on the 1998 BBC docusoap The Cruise before her debut album went to number one in the UK.
