A theatre on Forest Street in Medford, Massachusetts, housed in the former Medford High School. The building went up between 1894 and 1896 and was enlarged by an addition in 1914, a north wing in 1929 and a south wing ten years after that. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, and the city sold it to a property developer in 1984 for conversion; it now holds condominiums alongside the theatre. Indigo Girls are Atlanta folk-rock duo Amy Ray and Emily Saliers, whose harmony anthem Closer to Fine has soundtracked three decades of singalongs and activism.
