The Riviera Theatre is a 1917 former movie palace in Chicago's Uptown theatre district, designed by the noted cinema architects Rapp & Rapp for the Balaban & Katz chain. Now operated by Jam Productions, its ornate hall is one of the city's premier standing-room concert venues. Imminence are a Swedish metalcore band from Trelleborg, fronted by Eddie Berg, whose violin playing is woven through their arrangements rather than added as decoration.
