A two-floor venue on Bloor Street West in Toronto's Annex, adapted in September 1985 into the concert hall and nightclub it is now. The ground-floor room holds just over 500; upstairs is The Dance Cave, which draws students from the nearby universities at weekends with alt-rock and older regulars midweek with goth, mod, punk and indie nights. Hieroglyphics is a hip-hop/rap act.
