The Knitting Factory in Spokane is a mid-size concert venue on West Sprague Avenue in downtown Spokane, Washington, and part of the Knitting Factory Entertainment chain. It was rebranded as a Knitting Factory concert house in 2008 and books touring rock, indie and alternative acts. GWAR are Richmond, Virginia's costumed 'scumdogs of the universe', a shock-metal institution whose gore-soaked theatrical shows have delighted and drenched audiences since 1984.
