An indoor arena in San Diego, opened in November 1966 and built for $6.4 million by Bob Breitbard. An example of New Formalism architecture, it is designated a historic resource by the City of San Diego and is home to the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League. It has carried several names, becoming Pechanga Arena in December 2018. Gorillaz are the virtual band created in 1998 by Blur's Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett — animated members 2-D, Murdoc, Noodle and Russel fronting a revolving door of star collaborators.
