Inglewood's space-age landmark, opened in 1967 to Charles Luckman's pillar-free design. After decades as LA's sporting cathedral it was reborn as a pure concert arena — 'The Fabulous Forum' remains one of music's great rooms. Gorillaz are the virtual band created in 1998 by Blur's Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett — animated members 2-D, Murdoc, Noodle and Russel fronting a revolving door of star collaborators.
