Downtown Washington's arena, sitting directly on top of the Gallery Place Metro station in Chinatown. It opened in 1997 as the MCI Center and has changed name twice since — Verizon Center, then Capital One in 2017 — while staying the city's main indoor stop for anything big. Gorillaz are the virtual band created in 1998 by Blur's Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett — animated members 2-D, Murdoc, Noodle and Russel fronting a revolving door of star collaborators.
