The Paradise Rock Club is a 933-capacity general-admission music venue on Commonwealth Avenue beside Boston University, opened in 1977 as the Paradise Theater. One of Boston's storied small rooms and operated by Crossroads Presents, it has hosted early US shows by the likes of U2 and Phish. Glaive is the stage name of Ash Blue Gutierrez, an American singer-songwriter who built a following posting hyperpop tracks to SoundCloud early in the COVID-19 pandemic before signing to Interscope Records.

It has sat on the edge of Boston University's campus since 22 September 1977, when it opened as the Paradise Theater.
