Citizens House of Blues Boston is a live-music hall on Lansdowne Street beside Fenway Park, part of the House of Blues chain founded by Dan Aykroyd and Isaac Tigrett; it opened in 2009 on the site of the former Avalon nightclub. Giant Rooks are a German indie-rock band from Hamm whose euphoric live shows and debut Rookery built a large European following.
