The Paradise Rock Club is a 933-capacity general-admission music venue on Commonwealth Avenue beside Boston University, opened in 1977 as the Paradise Theater. One of Boston's storied small rooms and operated by Crossroads Presents, it has hosted early US shows by the likes of U2 and Phish. George Clanton is an American electronic musician and singer-songwriter who came out of the early-2010s vaporwave scene, also recording as Mirror Kisses and ESPRIT 空想.

It has sat on the edge of Boston University's campus since 22 September 1977, when it opened as the Paradise Theater. Phish's first big Boston show sold it out in January 1989, leaving a couple of hundred people on the pavement outside.
