A 1938 art-house cinema turned East Vancouver cultural hub — 409 seats, a balcony, and a community that has repeatedly fought (and won) public battles to save it. Films by night, gigs and multidisciplinary art whenever the screen goes dark. Gallant is the stage name of Christopher Joseph Gallant III, an American singer and songwriter from Columbia, Maryland.
