The Thabazimbi Landbou- en Nywerheidskou (Agricultural and Industrial Show) is an annual show in the mining and farming town of Thabazimbi, Limpopo, first held in 1954. As a traditional South African agricultural show it combines livestock and farm-animal exhibitions, breeders' competitions and trade displays with family entertainment and live music. The show has a long history of evening concerts on a purpose-built stage, with a daily line-up of artists, and remains a well-supported community event blending farming tradition with entertainment. Francois van Coke is one of South Africa's most influential rock figures.
