A 1913 working men's club in Hyde Park, Leeds, reborn as one of Britain's best-loved independent venues. Still a social enterprise with its community-club soul intact, its two 400-cap rooms host everyone from cult heroes to arena acts playing secret shows. ¡Forward, Russia! are a Leeds art-rock band formed in 2004, known for numbering their songs instead of naming them and for the frantic post-punk of debut album Give Me a Wall.
