The concert hall of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, the organisation behind the UK's oldest continuing professional symphony orchestra. Alongside the classical programme it takes touring bands, comedians and folk nights, so the room swings between formal and loose depending on the night. Fisherman's Friends are a folk group from the Cornish fishing village of Port Isaac who sing traditional sea shanties, formed in 1995 singing together on the harbour front.
