A casino hotel southwest of Minneapolis and Saint Paul in Prior Lake, Minnesota, owned and run by the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community. Alongside slots, bingo, blackjack and other gaming, plus bars, restaurants and accommodation, it stages a regular run of concerts and special events, making it one of Scott County's biggest entertainment draws. Everclear formed in Portland, Oregon in 1992 around Art Alexakis, the band's songwriter, singer and guitarist.
