Dawes Park is a lakefront public park on Sheridan Road in Evanston, Illinois, beside Lake Michigan, used as an outdoor setting for summer concerts. Indigo Girls are Atlanta folk-rock duo Amy Ray and Emily Saliers, whose harmony anthem Closer to Fine has soundtracked three decades of singalongs and activism.
