The Ritz is a concert venue at 2820 Industrial Drive in Midtown Raleigh, in a building put up in the 1960s that has been through several lives, including a spell as a seafood restaurant called the Flying Cloud. Live Nation rebuilt it and reopened the room on 13 February 2015. The Smashing Pumpkins, Tool, Dave Matthews Band, the Ramones, Foo Fighters and the White Stripes all played the older venue; the stage has held Lizzo, Slayer, Tyler Childers, Snoop Dogg and Zach Bryan since. EsDeeKid is a British rapper from Liverpool whose thick Scouse accent and cloud-rap-leaning production have made him a prominent figure in the UK underground scene.
