An independent theatre in Berlin-Mitte, in the Monbijoupark directly across the water from the Bode-Museum. It grew out of the Hexenkessel Hoftheater, a backyard theatre founded in East Berlin in 1994; since 1998 the summer season is played in the open air, and since 2007 the winter one happens in wooden Märchenhütten.
