An outdoor amphitheatre in Mansfield, Massachusetts, originally the Great Woods Center for the Performing Arts and still widely called Great Woods. It opened in the summer of 1986 with a 12,000 capacity, later expanded to 19,900 across reserved, lawn and general admission areas. Running mid-May to late September and named Billboard's Top Grossing Amphitheater in 2010, it is chiefly a concert venue. Empire of the Sun is Luke Steele (once of The Sleepy Jackson) and Nick Littlemore (of PNAU), who met in Sydney and in 2008 released Walking on a Dream, the record whose title track became one of the most-played Australian songs of its era.
