The details, in daylight
Emo Nite played Pappy and Harriets Pioneertown Palace in Pioneertown on 6 September 2026. This show has already taken place — see Emo Nite's page on KeenToGo for their upcoming dates.
Pappy & Harriet's Pioneertown Palace is a western-themed barbecue restaurant and music venue at Pioneertown, California, near Joshua Tree National Park and four miles north-east of Yucca Valley off California State Route 62. The building is part of the Western film set put up in 1946 for the cowboy actors Roy Rogers and Gene Autry, whose Main Street facades included a cantina. Harriet Allen and her husband Claude "Pappy" Allen bought it in 1982 and gave it its present name, pairing Tex-Mex food with live music; Robyn Celia and Linda Krantz took it on in 2003 and the stage has since held Paul McCartney, Robert Plant, Vampire Weekend and Queens Of The Stone Age. Emo Nite is a club night thrown by Morgan Freed and T.J. Petracca, who met working at a creative agency and convinced a bartender at the Short Stop in Echo Park to let them throw a party on a random, rainy Tuesday; double the bar's capacity turned up.
