The Knitting Factory in Spokane is a mid-size concert venue on West Sprague Avenue in downtown Spokane, Washington, and part of the Knitting Factory Entertainment chain. It was rebranded as a Knitting Factory concert house in 2008 and books touring rock, indie and alternative acts. Emo Nite is a club night thrown by Morgan Freed and T.J. Petracca, who met working at a creative agency and convinced a bartender at the Short Stop in Echo Park to let them throw a party on a random, rainy Tuesday; double the bar's capacity turned up.
