Crescent Ballroom is a live-music venue and kitchen in downtown Phoenix, Arizona, housed in a 1917 former garage on North 2nd Avenue. Opened in 2011, it pairs a mid-sized concert room with an in-house kitchen and bar. Emo Nite is a club night thrown by Morgan Freed and T.J. Petracca, who met working at a creative agency and convinced a bartender at the Short Stop in Echo Park to let them throw a party on a random, rainy Tuesday; double the bar's capacity turned up.
