The Crystal Ballroom is a historic dance hall on West Burnside Street in Portland, Oregon, opened in 1914 as Ringler's Cotillion Hall and now run by the McMenamins hospitality group. Famous for its mechanical 'floating' sprung dance floor, it hosts concerts for up to about 1,500 standing. Dogstar are an American alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1991, with Robert Mailhouse on drums, Keanu Reeves on bass and Bret Domrose on guitar and lead vocals.
