The details, in daylight
Digable Planets played Scala in London on 19 August 2026, with Blue Lab Beats in support. This show has already taken place — see Digable Planets's page on KeenToGo for their upcoming dates.
Scala is a live music venue and nightclub on Pentonville Road in London, near King's Cross station, in a building that opened in 1920 as the King's Cross Cinema. It spent over 70 years as a cinema — mainstream, art-house and adult film, and for a while a primatarium — and in the summer of 1972 hosted Iggy & The Stooges' only UK concert, the night Mick Rock took the photographs used on the Raw Power sleeve. It closed in 1993 after Warner Bros. sued over a screening of A Clockwork Orange, and reopened in 1999 with the lower seating area rebuilt as a stage and dancefloor and the upper tier turned into a second room. Digable Planets are an American hip hop trio formed in 1987, made up of Ishmael "Butterfly" Butler, Mariana "Ladybug Mecca" Vieira and Craig "Doodlebug" Irving.
