Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica is an open-air amphitheatre on the west bank of the Flats in Cleveland, part of the Nautica Waterfront District. Originally the Nautica Stage and later known as the Scene Pavilion and Plain Dealer Pavilion, it stages riverfront concerts through the warmer months. Death Cab for Cutie are a Bellingham, Washington indie-rock band led by Ben Gibbard, whose Transatlanticism and Plans became the emotional bedrock of 2000s indie.
