Navy Pier is a 3,300-foot pier reaching into Lake Michigan from Chicago's Streeterville neighbourhood and one of the city's most-visited attractions. Opened in 1916 and covering more than 50 acres of gardens, attractions and performance spaces, it stages open-air concerts and festivals along the lakefront. deadmau5 is Toronto producer Joel Zimmerman, whose progressive-house landmarks Strobe and Ghosts 'n' Stuff — and the LED mau5head — defined a generation of electronic music.
