A medieval castle and Victorian Gothic Revival mansion in the centre of Cardiff, used for outdoor concerts. The original motte-and-bailey was raised in the late 11th century by Norman invaders on top of a 3rd-century Roman fort, and rebuilding in stone — a shell keep and substantial defensive walls — began in the 12th century. David Byrne is the Talking Heads visionary whose restless solo career — capped by the Broadway triumph American Utopia — keeps redefining what a concert can be.
