A permanent live-music and club venue in Bristol, BS2 0SE, opened by the team behind the Junction 2 and ION festivals as their first permanent room. The main indoor space measures 40 by 45 metres and takes more than 3,000 people, which its operators call one of the highest-capacity single-room venues in Bristol. A second room, Crane, holds up to 1,350 standing or 500 seated beneath the site's original Morris cranes, and an 1,800-square-metre courtyard is used for outdoor events in summer. The programme is produced with Bristol promoters including Team Love, The Blast and Dance Corp. Dance Gavin Dance are a Sacramento post-hardcore band whose funk-laced 'swancore' and dual clean/screamed vocals power a prolific album run and devoted fandom.
