Sydney's oldest working theatre, a 1908 art-deco room in Newtown whose 2,500 capacity and steep stalls make it the city's favourite big-band-in-a-small-room venue. Cradle of Filth are an English extreme metal band formed in Suffolk in 1991 around vocalist Dani Filth, fusing black metal with gothic theatricality.
