A 1913 working men's club in Hyde Park, Leeds, reborn as one of Britain's best-loved independent venues. Still a social enterprise with its community-club soul intact, its two 400-cap rooms host everyone from cult heroes to arena acts playing secret shows. corto.alto is the project of Glasgow multi-instrumentalist Liam Shortall, working at the point where jazz meets dub, hip-hop and electronics.
