Long regarded as one of the region's most storied rooms, it has hosted blues and rock names from John Lee Hooker and B.B. King to early-career sets by No Doubt. Corinne Bailey Rae is a Leeds singer-songwriter whose honeyed Put Your Records On won global fame, later reinventing herself with the acclaimed art-punk of Black Rainbows.
