Seattle's oldest active theater, an 1,800-seat performing arts venue two blocks from Pike Place Market at 2nd Avenue and Virginia Street. Opened in 1907, it has long hosted theatrical productions, concerts and lectures. Today it is run by the Seattle Theatre Group, which also operates the larger Paramount and the Neptune Theatre. Chance Peña is an American singer-songwriter from Tyler, Texas, working in an atmospheric indie-folk style after competing on The Voice as a teenager.
