The Concert Chamber is the smaller of the two auditoriums inside Auckland Town Hall, an Italian Renaissance-style civic building on Queen Street in central Auckland that opened in 1911. Seating around 430, it is used for chamber music, recitals and other intimate performances alongside the building's 1,500-seat Great Hall. Chamber Music New Zealand is the country's leading not-for-profit presenter of chamber music, staging more than a hundred concerts a year by touring ensembles and soloists from the Far North to the far south.
