A 1925 theatre on the corner of Lime Street, the second playhouse to stand on the site. Its 2,348 seats are split across the largest two-tier auditorium in the country. Cabaret Voltaire are Sheffield industrial-electronic pioneers whose tape-loop experiments from 1973 onward laid groundwork for techno and EBM; the project continues under founder Richard H. Kirk's legacy.
